Welcome to the Kansas Section of the American Water Works Association
A Message from the Director
I greatly appreciate the confidence that the members of the Kansas AWWA Section have placed in
me, by electing me to serve as director for the next three years. I shall represent our Section in a
professional and effective manner at the national level. I look forward to working with the board and
members for the betterment of our Section.

A Message from the Chair
I am honored to be representing the Kansas Section of AWWA for the 2024–2025 calendar year. AWWA was founded in 1881 with the stated purpose of “exchanging information pertaining to the management of water-works,” and I encourage Kansas water professionals to take this to heart.
Over the next year, I plan to encourage our committees and board members to take time with each other to build their network of professionals in this industry. KSAWWA has re-launched our Leadership Development Program, which I’m confident will be better than ever. We have a high school internship program in collaboration with KWEA that I want to see take off in 2025. We have scholarships for operators to fund the betterment of water training in the state of Kansas that I hope to see fully utilized.
I will represent the Kansas Section to the best of my abilities, and I look forward to working with our board and committee members for the continued betterment of water in Kansas.
