Welcome to the Kansas Section of the American Water Works Association
Welcome to the Kansas Section of AWWA!
I am humbled and honored to be serving as the current chair of the Kansas Section of the American Water Works Association.
I am proud to be serving the state of Kansas alongside some of the most driven, brilliant, and committed people in the water industry. Building off of a solid foundation, we are excited to forge ahead, pushing into new ways of doing business. We look forward to touching new members, providing the necessary support and resources to any water utility in need, and growing our next generation of industry professionals.
This Section and Association not only set the standard for industry excellence, but they also allow incredible individuals to make meaningful lifetime connections. I encourage you to get to know the Section, the board members, and committee chairs alike. Please contact me or anyone in the Kansas Section to find out how you can connect!
Thank you for all you do for Kansas!
If you are not a member of AWWA but are involved or interested in effectively managing water resources, for example, maintaining adequate water supplies, protecting source water quality, or providing safe drinking water, you are encouraged to join AWWA.
Please see our membership page for information about joining AWWA, and see AWWA’s website for more information about the association. Please feel free to contact me or others in our organization with any questions you have about membership in AWWA. Resources include our strategic plan, publications, Opflow, Certification Corner, Improve Operations, and of course events and networking opportunities.
If you are already a member of KsAWWA, I encourage you to get more involved in our section’s activities. If you are not very familiar with our section’s activities, you might want to start by browsing the website and recent issues of our section newsletter (Solution H2O).
I believe that what a strong group of people can accomplish together is much larger, far greater, and will exceed what an individual can achieve alone. I look forward to visiting with you at upcoming workshops and conferences.
