EFC Program Manager

The Hugo Wall School of Urban and Public Affairs at Wichita State University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Program Manager for the Environmental Finance Center. This individual will assist the EFC Director in all aspects of the Center, including program administration, development and implementation.

Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in environmental science, engineering, public administration or closely related field; excellent oral and written communication skills; community level experience leading diverse stakeholder groups; experience in local government or nonprofit organizations; experience independently managing complex programs and projects; an understanding of environmental issues; ability to travel regionally and nationally including overnight trips.

Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree in public administration, environmental science, engineering or closely related field; experience in conducting educational seminars or other professional development events; knowledge of water resource and infrastructure management; knowledge of local government finance; experience managing and administering grants; and successful work experience in conducting applied research.
