If you have a
Certificate from Kansas Water Environment Association (KWEA), Kansas
Water Pollution Control (KWPC), or Kansas Section, American Waterworks
Association (KSAWWA), and your certificate does not have an expiration
date, only an issued date, you should have received information on
renewing them. If you have not, please call Shari @ (913) 441-8921,
to find out how to get your certificate renewed. This will ensure
your not having to repeat taking the test again to get re-certified.
Since the KETS/ABC
Voluntary Certification Program has been started, there has been some
confusion. I am hoping to answer some of your questions, or give you
the name of the person who can answer them. Some of you have had questions
about the KETS/ABC exams or about the KDHE operator certifications
and don’t know whom to contact. If you have questions in regards to
your State Water/Wastewater Operator certification, that is KDHE,
please call Teresa @ (785) 296-5511. If you have questions in regards
to KETS/ABC certification for Wastewater Collections, Wastewater Laboratory,
Industrial Waste, Biosolids Management, Water Distribution, or Water
Laboratory, please call Shari @ (913) 441-8921.
One more very
important piece of information, please keep us informed of any change
in your address. KETS uses your mailing address for the KETS newsletter,
upcoming training and important certification renewal information.
Address changes can be sent to KETS, 1832 S. 105 th Terrace, Edwardsville,
KS 66111, or you can call Shari @ (913) 441-8921, and give the information
to her. We appreciate all your time, patience, and cooperation in
making the program a successful one.
